Nokia Redesigns Logo to Break Free From its Image as a Phone Company

Nokia redesigned its logo for the first time in decades to distance itself from its public image as a phone company.

“We built on the heritage of the previous logo but made it feel more contemporary and digital to reflect our current identity,” CEO Pekka Lundmark wrote in a release Sunday. “This is Nokia, but not as the world has seen us before.”

Nokia now makes much revenue from business-to-business sales, with plans to expand its footprint in the enterprise market.

TikTok Limits Screentime for People Below 18 Years of Age

Once teenagers spend an hour on the platform, TikTok will notify them to take an active decision if they want to continue. Teenagers can opt out of the feature, but the app will prompt them to set a limit if they spend “more than 100 minutes on TikTok in a day.”

For users under 13, a password would be required to continue access to the platform.

TikTok is taking steps to reduce screentime from younger users as guardians worry over their safety on the app.

The pair programming plugin for GitHub Copilot for Business, powered by OpenAI Codex, is now publicly available. Copilot’s code ideas are powered by OpenAI’s Codex, which converts natural language into code.

According to GitHub, Copilot has an updated Codex model and additional features. Additionally, it has created a vulnerability filter to enhance the security of Copilot’s code recommendations and aid developers in quickly identifying unsafe coding practices.

Wizkid Postpones ‘More Love Less Ego’ Tour

International music star, Ayodeji Balogun, known as Wizkid, announced the postponement of his much anticipated ‘More Love, Less Ego’ tour. Wizkid made this known in a statement shared via his social media accounts on Wednesday, citing logistical issues. While he did not specify the dates, the singer stated that the tour had been rescheduled to the fall season, September to December 2023.

“All tickets purchased for the originally scheduled shows will be honoured on the new dates at the respective venues.
